Pinewood Derby (2017)

The Princesses and Guides will be racing Pinewood Derby cars Saturday, March 25th at St. Paul's in Westlake on Detroit Road.  The Gudes will be racing first this year in the morning with the Princesses following in the afternoon.

Car kits ($8.00 each) are available now and will be sold at the Maumee Bay Campouts, both the bowling and tobogganing events, and at Fitch in February.  We'll announce an evening or two where you can come up to a local restaurant during a weeknight to purchase a car from us if you are unable to attend any of those events. Let your tribe chief know how many kits you will need. Note - the kits we require usually cannot be purchased locally, and our wheels are different than the scouting kits.

WEIGH-IN's - All cars must be turned in prior to race.   Due to scheduling conflicts at St. Paul's, the weigh-in will only be on Friday night March 24th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Paul's.  Sorry, NO cars will be accepted after 8:30 p.m. on Friday in order for us to prepare the schedule for the heats the following day.

REGISTRATION - We are asking all racers to be registered BEFORE weigh-in. This will help us streamline the weigh-in process and allow us to provide racers with a schedule much earlier than prevous years. Please click the registration link below and fill out the form for EACH guide or princess who will be racing. Please register no later than Wednesday, March 22nd.
